Abstract

Helen Manigault Gadsden discusses staying in her home in the Beehive community (Mount Pleasant) during Hurricane Hugo. She recounts the night that Hugo made landfall as well as the hurricane's impact on her home and community. James joins towards the conversation towards the end of the interview.
